Ceremonial Organic Matcha TZ-M-102
What is Ceremonial Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder Senior TZ-M-102?
Ceremonial Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder Senior TZ-M-102 is the finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves. It is the second-highest Ceremonial grade of TIZAN Organic Matcha, TZ-M-102 has a more intense sweetness, and deeper flavor than the standard or coarser grades of tea harvested later in the year.
The green tea plants are shade-grown for three to four weeks before harvest. The tea leaves slow down growth, stimulates an increase in chlorophyll levels, turns the leaves a darker shade of green, and cause the production of amino acids, particularly theanine. After harvest, the leaves are briefly steamed and dried, known as tencha. Finally, only the pure leaves are left and remove all stems. Then, grind Tencha to the fine powder, bright green powder known as Matcha.
